Plastic upcycling workshops (Precious Plastic lab)! It’s amazing to see school students interested in upcycling, technology and environmental awareness! By introducing the technological applications of the Precious Plastic lab to the general public, we can have a huge social impact. Our goal is to create conditions for reducing and eliminating plastic pollution through environmental awareness. This can only be achieved by creating a new, innovative ground for future generations. We hope for the local development and the radical change of the everyday life of the Greek family in the management of plastic. We have already organized numerous educational activities where participants learn about different types of plastic, how to sort, process and utilize plastic waste as a raw material to use in our special machinery. Precious Plastic was started in 2013 by Dave Hakkens. It’s a global community of hundreds of people working towards a solution to plastic pollution. This action is implemented through funding from the A.G. Leventis Foundation under the “Points of Support” program co-funded by 6 public benefit organizations.
