Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
We want you to be happy with every product made at Athens Makerspace. All our products are handmade from 100% recycled plastic, so small variations in colour and pattern are part of each piece and are not defects.
In line with EU consumer law, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
Returns
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can arrange the return.
Items that cannot be returned:
- Custom or made-to-order constructions (benches, bins, kiosks, planters, sheets made to your specification)
- Products personalised at your request
- Any item damaged after delivery or not in its original condition for reasons not due to our error
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer, unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong product.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm it and let you know whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days.
If you paid by bank deposit, we will ask for the account to refund to.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping.
